Getting Better at Asking Questions.

Goals: - Ask more frequently lower threshold, at least 1Q a day? ☐ Spend less time grinding away at a problem 2-4 hour timer, then go public? Thoughts that get in my way I can figure this out by myself I don't want to bother others This is too niche I have to dig through research So I can ask good questions I don't want to deal with lots of advice Yes, but (a) it takes time, and (b) I still miss out on survey type questions that benefit from multiple perspectives. answering is totally optional. I can ask in asynchronous manageable ways (ex. Twitter, blog comments) This is the Internet! People are interested in all sorts of obscure things. Time limit? Get better at sketching question quickly, then sharing outside my blog. Different community & need to build? also, ask follow-up questions after blog posts.. Collect, summarize, & decide. No obligation to do what people. Oct 23,2013 ☐ Recognize survey-type questions and ask them (maybe with research) Try preparing less By asking for help, I can give people the chance to let me build on what the learned and Share the next steps reuve Besides, it builds relationships and helps everyone learn. others VS others new Recognize question points/ learning opportunities.
